We are so grateful to God for building His church—which is you and I as His people—and for giving us this house to gather in as His Church. Did you know this building used to be a cinema, and then a nightclub? It wasn’t in a good condition but it was a bigger space. God hand-picked it for us to restore. We have seen thousands of people come through these doors to encounter Jesus Christ. Our Kids Church downstairs used to be a dark, dripping basement, but thanks to the generous people of Life church, it was transformed. The same happened with our foyer and cafe creating room for more people to connect and feel at home.

We know there are another two phases ahead to complete the foyer and building renovation, but we have felt a clear prompt to pause Phase 2 and move directly to Phase 3. The reason is simple: we want long-term impact and to protect the space we have been blessed with. The harsh Cape Town coastal environment causes rapid deterioration; repairing the spalling and repainting is not just about aesthetics—it is about fortifying our space for the generations to come.

Our heart has always been bigger than our own front door. This year, we are combining our mission’s vision into Heart for the House and Beyond. We continue our conviction to support the global work of Life Church across Africa—planting churches, supporting local pastors, and building God’s Kingdom across the continent.
